Putting aside a degree in Communications & Sports Marketing, Annie took the leap to pursue her childhood ambition. After years of freelance commercial, television & bridal makeup, the entrepreneurial dream of opening a small business became a reality when the doors opened to the first making faces, a thoughtfully curated lifestyle boutique on October 2nd, 2002.

 

With the vision growing so did locations with openings in Portland, ME in 2004 and Hamilton, MA in 2006.

 

As the years went on instead of growing more locations, Annie began growing babies, having her two daughters Taylor & Parker.

 

In 2010  we bid a sad farewell to the Portland & Hamilton locations to allow the necessary time to balance the rewards & demands of motherhood.

 

Those stores brought about lifelong friends from our dream teams to cherished customers. It’s always been about the relationships we are building first and foremost.

 

Going forward, all professional energy was driven deeply into our Portsmouth location.

 

In 2019 we moved into our “last stop” in the Portsmouth Green Plaza.  We expect to be in this magical location for many years to come.

 

From our fully equipped treatment room offering facials, peels, lash lifts, waxing, makeup lessons & more (please see our services section) to the over 100+  Brands of beauty. wellness & style represented, we will always strive to create a place of quality products, expert advice & most importantly making sure every person that visits leaves looking & feeling better than when they walked in.

 

We consider it a  privilege to be part of this amazing, loyal community that has kept us going for the past 20 years. It’s our passion, energy & drive for each other &  all of you that keep moving us forward. We believe the best is still yet to come.
